Book Grab is a free online book search service. It is designed to find the best deal for textbooks at the U of A. It will search:

• Our own database of used books for sale by other students

Book Grab is no longer being maintained.

Since the launch of Xbook which is intergrated into the widely used Bear Scat service we felt that continued work on this site which essentialy does the same thing would be redundant and unnecessary and thus decided to close shop and fight for the powers of good in other ways. This has had some noticeable effects on our search feature, as changes in the sites we parsed for data have made many of our results mostly ineffective. We still encourage you to look for the best deals on your books, unfortunately for now we can not be part of your search.
